Responsibilities:
- Use a forklift to load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items
- Secure loads to the machine before transport to ensure safety
- Utilize scanning technology to ensure correct products are picked, and inventory is kept updated
- Communicate to staff regarding their dispatches
- Inspect machinery to determine repair requirements and perform routine maintenance to ensure safety
- Move materials packed on pallets around the facility as per requirement
- Identify and resolve or report workplace safety hazards
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
- High school diploma
- Valid forklift certification
- Proficiency in operating machinery and scanners
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of working safely in a warehouse environment
- Demonstrated ability to inspect and maintain forklift and other machinery
- Forklift operation Experience – 3-4 years.

Position Summary: The Manager will be responsible to build and lead our European logistics and compliance function. This is a critical leadership role that will drive cost efficiency, ensure full regulatory compliance (EU Organic, Skal, RASFF, customs) and support our aggressive growth plans for 2026–2031. Key Responsibilities: •Full ownership of inbound logistics, warehousing, 3PL management and outbound distribution from Rotterdam • End-to-end customs clearance, Skal Biocontrole coordination and EU Organic compliance • Optimise logistics costs while maintaining high OTIF (>90%) and minimising demurrage/detention • Build strong relationships with Port of Rotterdam terminals, transporters and customs authorities • Lead risk mitigation on regulatory issues (RASFF, traceability, organic integrity) • Manage and develop the logistics team and external partners • Support working capital optimisation through efficient inventory and flow management
Team Leadership • Manage and develop team with leadership skills • Good Coaching & Mentoring • Coordinate with procurement, finance, legal, sales, and operationsKey Skills & Qualifications: • Graduate preferred in Logistics & Supply chain • 10–15+ years of logistics & customs experience in the food / organic / FMCG sector • Deep knowledge of EU Organic Regulation 2018/848, Skal procedures, RASFF and Dutch/EU customs (highly preferred) • Strong experience with the Port of Rotterdam ecosystem and temperature-controlled / dry organic cargo. • Proven track record in cost optimisation, 3PL management and process improvement • Hands-on leader with excellent stakeholder management skills • Fluent in English and Dutch (or willing to learn Dutch quickly)
