Position Summary: The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the production operations including scheduling, planning, quality control, and manpower management. This role requires hands-on leadership to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production in alignment with company standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Production Operations • Plan, coordinate, and control daily production processes for rice, grains, and oil seed cleaning and packaging. • Ensure timely execution of production schedules for both bulk and consumer packs. • Optimize production line efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce waste. Process Management • Oversee the cleaning, grading, blending, and packaging operations. • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance with the engineering team. • Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP, BRC, FSSC 22000) and organic handling protocols. Team Leadership • Manage and develop a team of line operators, supervisors, and production staff. • Conduct daily team briefings, assign responsibilities, and track performance metrics. • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Quality & Compliance • Work closely with QA/QC to ensure all finished products meet quality specifications. • Maintain traceability and documentation as per regulatory and customer requirements. • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for any deviations. Inventory & Material Planning • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials. • Monitor usage and ensure minimal wastage of materials. Reporting & Documentation • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like yield, efficiency, and downtime. • Participate in audits and inspections from regulatory authorities and clients. Key Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in food processing, preferably in grains/rice. • Strong understanding of food safety standards, production processes, and quality systems. • Hands-on experience with packaging machinery (form-fill-seal, vacuum packing, etc.). • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP systems is a plus. • Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage. Job Purpose: At Nature Bio Foods BV a trader will drive sales and profitability of our international desk of Grains and Cereals. Will bear responsibility of procurement and sales, margins, customer service, opportunities and risk assessment and information exchange within our commercial team. Your high energy, drive, creativity and outstanding communication skills will be prevailing to further develop the business to achieve continued growth of the business. For this reason Nature Bio Foods BV is looking for a Trader.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for purchase and sales of Grains and Cereals. (Volumes, deliveries according to specs, margins, contract formulation and execution, and cost price calculations);
  • Responsible for the inventory positions within category;
  • Helps formulating the sales budgets for the category;
  • Manages supplier relationships;
  • Ensures optimal customer satisfaction;
  • Responsible for handling of commercial issues/complaints;
  • Suggests new trade opportunities and product development;
  • Keeps track of international market developments;
  • Keeps track of the results and suggests corrective action plans when needed;
  • Contributes to continuously improve the work procedures and systems of the desk;
  • Ensure all suppliers meet our stringent vendor approval requirements;
  • Participates in and contributes to the sales meetings;
  • Visits existing as well as potential customers and suppliers (inter)nationally;
  • Visits trade related fairs.
For this challenging role you are required to have:
  • Minimum Bachelor level (ideally Organic International Trade);
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a trade role in food & Grains business;
  • Experience in an import/export environment and successful customer service experience;
  • Affinity with food ingredients and the organic industry;
  • Proven excellent communication skills – both verbal and written;
  • Effective contract negotiation skills;Awareness of relevant prevailing quality and food safety regulations;
  • Ability to solve challenging problems;
  • Being able to prioritize, meet deadlines and work with minimal direction;
  • Stress resistant;
  • Proficiency of the English language (in writing and verbally) is a must; command of the Dutch,
  • German language are a plus;
  • An "international" mind-set, result driven, attention to detail and a team player;
  • Independent risk/reward assessment;
  • Willingness to travel, also internationally (about 20% of your time).

Responsibilities:

  • Use a forklift to load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items
  • Secure loads to the machine before transport to ensure safety
  • Utilize scanning technology to ensure correct products are picked, and inventory is kept updated
  • Communicate to staff regarding their dispatches
  • Inspect machinery to determine repair requirements and perform routine maintenance to ensure safety
  • Move materials packed on pallets around the facility as per requirement
  • Identify and resolve or report workplace safety hazards
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma
  • Valid forklift certification
  • Proficiency in operating machinery and scanners
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of working safely in a warehouse environment
  • Demonstrated ability to inspect and maintain forklift and other machinery
  • Forklift operation Experience – 3-4 years.
