Nature Bio Foods conducts Processing, Packaging Cleaning, Co2 treatment and Warehousing operations out of Maasvlakte – Rotterdam and some third party operations out of many countries in Europe.

Position Summary:
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the production operations including
scheduling, planning, quality control, and manpower management. This role requires hands-on leadership to ensure
efficient, safe, and high-quality production in alignment with company standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Operations
• Plan, coordinate, and control daily production processes for rice, grains, and oil seed cleaning and packaging.
• Ensure timely execution of production schedules for both bulk and consumer packs.
• Optimize production line efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.
Process Management
• Oversee the cleaning, grading, blending, and packaging operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance with the engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP, BRC, FSSC 22000) and organic handling protocols.
Team Leadership
• Manage and develop a team of line operators, supervisors, and production staff.
• Conduct daily team briefings, assign responsibilities, and track performance metrics.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Quality & Compliance
• Work closely with QA/QC to ensure all finished products meet quality specifications.
• Maintain traceability and documentation as per regulatory and customer requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for any deviations.
Inventory & Material Planning
• Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
• Monitor usage and ensure minimal wastage of materials.
Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like yield, efficiency, and downtime.
• Participate in audits and inspections from regulatory authorities and clients.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in food processing, preferably in grains/rice.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, production processes, and quality systems.
• Hands-on experience with packaging machinery (form-fill-seal, vacuum packing, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP systems is a plus.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.

Salary Range:
Euro 4000 to 4500
